Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Wordle Battle app and the website word.vnamu.com (together, “Wordle Battle”). By using Wordle Battle you agree to them.

1. The service

Wordle Battle is a five-letter word guessing game with a daily puzzle, unlimited practice, games against an AI, and real-time 1:1 duels with other players. It is free to play. The app shows ads, which you can remove with an optional subscription.

Wordle Battle is an independent game and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by The New York Times Company or its Wordle game.

2. Accounts

  • You can play as a guest without signing in. Signing in with an ID, Kakao or Apple keeps your records on your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time from “Delete account” in the menu. Your nickname, scores, rankings and game history are deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.

3. Ad-free subscription

  • Name and length: Wordle Battle Ad-Free, a 1-month auto-renewing subscription.
  • What you get: banner and full-screen ads are removed while the subscription is active. All other features are the same for everyone.
  • Price: shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
  • Payment: charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Renewal: the subscription renews automatically each month at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Cancelling: cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Ads return when the paid period ends.
  • Refunds: handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. If a purchase is refunded, ads come back.
  • Restoring: use “Restore purchases” on the Remove Ads screen after reinstalling or switching devices on the same store account. The subscription belongs to the device and store account, not to your game login.

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t use offensive or hateful nicknames or impersonate others. Don’t use automated tools to raise scores, disrupt the service, or try to get around the subscription. We may change nicknames, remove records or block access if you do.

5. No warranty

Wordle Battle is provided as is. The service may change or pause, and ranking and season rules may be adjusted to keep things fair.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages from using Wordle Battle. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

7. Changes

We may update these terms and will change the effective date above when we do. Continuing to use Wordle Battle means you accept the updated terms.
