1 Basic rules
Guess the hidden word within six tries.
In Korean mode each tile is a jamo (letter unit); in English mode each tile is a letter (5-letter words). Fill the row and press Enter.
After each guess the tiles change color to show how close you were.
ㅅ is in the word and in the correct spot. (green)
ㅁ is in the word but in the wrong spot. (yellow)
ㅡ is not in the word. (gray)
2 Battle rules
A real-time 1:1 turn-based duel. Each turn lasts 20 seconds; players alternate one guess at a time.
- Same word — both players race on the same answer. You can see your opponent's best row.
- Different word — each player solves a different answer of the same length.
- The mode is picked automatically at matchmaking and stays visible as a badge at the top.
- ⏱ Timeout — after 20 seconds the row is auto-passed and the turn moves on. (uses up a row)
- 🏆 Win — guess the word first and you win.
- 🤝 Draw — if neither player solves it in six rows, it's a draw.
- 🚪 Forfeit / leave — forfeiting or leaving mid-game counts as a loss. (opponent wins)
You can compose letters during your opponent's turn; submitting only works on yours.
3 Scoring
The skill adjustment is ELO-style: beating a stronger player earns more, losing to a weaker one costs more.
4 Tiers
Your battle score determines your tier, shown as a badge on rankings and in matches.
- 🛡 Shield = Iron·Bronze·Silver 💎 Gem = Gold·Platinum·Emerald·Diamond 👑 Crown = Master+
- Iron–Diamond have 4 divisions (IV–I); from Master up, the score itself is shown instead.
New players and guests start at 0 points — Iron IV.
Tiers reset every quarter (Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct 1). Your score isn't wiped — you keep 2/3 of it.
e.g. 1,000 → 666 · 300 → 200
