How Battle Works
A real-time 1:1 turn-based duel. Each turn is 20 seconds; you alternate one guess at a time.
- Same word Both players race on the same answer. You can see your opponent's best row.
- Different word Each player solves a different answer of the same length.
- The mode is picked automatically at matchmaking and shown as a badge at the top.
- ⏱ Timeout — after 20 seconds the row is passed automatically and the turn moves on.
- 🏆 Win — guess the word first and you win.
- 🤝 Draw — if neither player solves it in six rows, it's a draw.
- 🚪 Forfeit/Leave — leaving mid-game counts as a loss.
You can compose letters during your opponent's turn; submitting only works on yours.
